Love, Wound and Healing
Last Sunday, I got nothing better to do so I decided to do some Spring Cleaning. Yes I know, it's still a long way to Spring, now is only Summer, I know I know.
Brought my bantal busuk out for some sun bathing.
Stacked up all the books laying on my bedroom floor.
Sorted out those expired newspapers lying inside the toilet.
Gosh, I'm very environmentally friendly. I tried to make this world a better place to stay.
Then, I decided to wash my car, got to fetch a special person soon next week.
There's a saying stating:
If you wanna know how's your man's stamina, ask him to wash(or wax?) the car.
With my trainings obtained when I was in martial arts classes, washing and waxing a car is not a big problem for me.
After spray the car with some water from the host
Filled up the bucket with water.
Pour in the shampoo and I can start to wash it.
When I was about to move the bucket, the edge at the bottom of the bucket scratched my foot.
I thought it shouldn't be a big problem cause all the while my skin is thick.
After some while when I look down at the floor, only I noticed the floor was covered with blood, blood from my foot flowing down to the floor like no one else business.
I got to stop the car washing and went into the house to get some plaster or so to stop the bleeding.
Pain? No, I don't feel anything until I saw the blood on the floor, then only I felt the pain.
Is it a big wound? Yes, or else it will not bleed until the blood covered the floor!
Did you kick the bucket for hurting? What's the point of kicking the bucket and hurt myself for the second time?
Yes, what's the point of kicking and punching the bucket - the prime master which injured me in the beginning?
The damage had been done, you can burn, kick, punch, tear the bucket apart but still you will have a wound on your body, vanity.
The main thing I had to do at that moment would be stop the bleeding and continue back with the car washing. I wrapped a plaster on the wound and carried on with the chores.
Yes, it's troublesome to have a wound on your foot, especially for advanced, civilized people like me, I don't bare my feet to go anywhere. I wear shoes, sometimes with socks. Covering your wound with sock and goes into a shoe? Just imagine the germs and bacteria inside the shoe. Geee..... But the one I went out with after that, never noticed I got an injured leg/foot.
Recently, I had encountered with few people who failed in their relationship with their opposite sex.
They will throw out questions like:
"Is there anyone that will love you wholeheartedly without asking anything for return?"
"I still love her but she doesn't love me anymore. What should I do? To Be or Not To Be?"
Frankly, I got no time for these epic-al questions; people had been asking these questions ever since .... Adam and Eve was chased out from Eden Garden?
Love, love, love... This so-called love would be one of the elements which will show how idiotic our human would be.
Sometimes, a guy will think no matter how, he will love this girl wholeheartedly and hoping one day she will love him and they will stay inside a palace and breeding millions of babies - yes, a full swing and a metal block ahead. The actual fact: the girl hates him, dislikes him and hope that he would vanish from this earth, but people love to listen to lies, lies from inner self and those self-proclaimed love expert and suffer because of so-called love. Yeah, love my ice cream!
Sometimes, a girl will think of getting back with her boyfriend who dumped her.
"I couldn't forget him, I love him so much."
At this point of time, my filthy mind will tell me, she must have lost something to this dude, something very precious, that thing, yes, that thing!
There's a old saying in chinese:
You can pick the thing up, of course you can let the thing goes.
I recall the time, looking at my mother training my baby cousin to grab some toy using his small little cute hand. Mom open up his hand, put the toy into his grab and close his fingers - viola, he can grab the thing. And the next thing you know would be the baby would put the toy into his mouth, chewing and drooling - so cute.
Then mom started her mission to teach the baby boy to let go. She moved her palm forward.
"Give me, give me."
Baby cousin gave mom a strange look, blinking his big round eyes. Perhaps he was thinking why this old lady want my toy?
Mom pulled his hand with the toy near to her palm.
"Let go, let go."
And he let go off the toy. It's much easier to teach a baby about letting go, compares with grown ups with so many education and tuition.
Shame on you - grownups with big brain, big idea, big this and big that - and not forgetting a big sorrow back history.
Being one of the young adults - I'm not eligible to be called as UNCLE yet.
I do have my bad experience, falling down and hurt myself, even when I was washing my car I hurt myself too. But these don't stop me from doing things I should do.
Loving people, meeting people, doing my jobs and etc.
It's the matter how you deal with this!
Hurt yourself when you're washing car, then you give up on washing car in the future?
Hurt yourself when you're so in love with someone until your bruised yourself and your so-called loved ones?
If you really love that person, you should wish that, hope that, pray that he or she will live happily....
Your presence, your action, your speech might hurt someone... same goes with my entry. But tomorrow still will come, and where you find your solace?
